I have been having my morning in a church for about eight days. It is a ritual that i used to do in Indonesia; to begin my morning simply by kneel-sit and pray in a church. Yesterday, i did another thing; light a candle. There is a place usually in every catholic church that people can light a candle and pray. So, there i was after i did my ritual pray. The day was started with a candle. I took this picture this morning because i didn’t think to take it yesterday ;p

From the church, i went to my university library as almost everyday in Melbourne i go to library. Yet, yesterday; Monday 1st December 2008, is the day when the result of higher education was published. Praise God, I was very surprised as i saw an HD (high distinction) score for one of the subjects i took, and it was in the last semester; the subject is titled Vocational Education and Training: Policy and Practice. I raise the issues of unemployeds and dropouts in Indonesia as the assignments for that subject. Overall, the result for the last semester is the best i achieved in my master course.

Then, i spent the day going out with my Vietnamese friends. We went to the highest building in Melbourne, to have sightseeing. There is a floor in that building which is designed as an attraction place for people to see Melbourne from high place. The place is called Eureka Skydeck. We were having wonderful time enjoy seeing Melbourne from eighty eighth floor.

I continue the rest of the day by having dinner in the Japanese restaurant where i work. The main reason for me to end the day in this restaurant is because i want to take pictures of the christmas tree that i made and decorated. The idea however not totally mine, some ideas are from other friends. The idea of making the main tree in the middle was suddenly popped up, as i kept thinking what will be the main christmas tree. It was made by three tree-shape carton box and three chopsticks as the frame. The smaller trees underneath made by my friends out of post cards. They all look very impressive as another friend said to me.

Before night ended, one of my Vietnamese friends phoned me. She suggested me to go outside to look at the sky. That time, the moon and two planets; Venus and Jupiter, shape a smiling face. It was a unique view on the sky. Though i didn’t go out to have a look, but i found the image from the internet.

Finally, the last thing i did before i close my eyes was to keep believing the love that comes from hearts that have been so wonderful beside me. They are shining like candles. Perhaps i may finalize this post that the moment i lighted that candle, God heard my prayer.
